At the end of September, the summer holidays came to an end. Our students were able to devote themselves to their classes and studies for the second half of the school year. Let’s take a look at some of the special programs and internships that our students experienced in September in order to further improve their “Power to enjoy”.
Four of our students participated in an internship led by the Osaka Tourism Bureau on the 1st of September. Osaka University of Tourism is the first university to conduct an internship in cooperation with the Osaka Tourism Bureau.
Two of our students went to De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines for a two-week short-term English intensive summer course on 3rd September. This course is one of our short-term exchange study abroad programs.
Upon returning to school, the students exchanged small gifts that they had purchased during their summer breaks through short-term study abroad programs and visits to their hometowns.
Cultural Appreciation and Creative Practice courses offered in the fall semester, which begins on 22 September, include tea culture, dance, new sports, and hot tourism spots.
